Mark Me Present (Berlin, 2018)

Exhibition, Dialogue Series & Education Platform
Initiated by Luiza Mogosanu & Andreas Poppmann
Hosted at Die Pyramide, Berlin-Hellersdorf

Mark Me Present was created as a cross-disciplinary project bringing together contemporary art practice, interdisciplinary education, and public dialogue. Designed as a platform to amplify the voices of teacher-in-training students and foster student-centered pedagogies, the initiative unfolded through a month-long program of exhibitions, workshops, and talks.

Rooted in the belief that art education must resonate with the lived experiences and cultural codes of new generations, the event offered space for shared inquiry among student teachers, artists, university lecturers, and educators across institutional boundaries. The title — Mark Me Present — is both a plea and a proposition: to be acknowledged, to be here, and to co-shape the present.

Key Themes:

  • Autobiography and artistic identity

  • Contemporary reform in pedagogy and curriculum

  • Art as a site of inquiry and social imagination

  • Sensorial and embodied learning

  • Cross-generational dialogue
